When I started trading, I wanted action. I thought being a trader meant constantly buying and selling, making moves every day. Sitting still felt like wasting opportunities.
But over time, I realized most of my bad trades came from impatience. I would jump into a setup before it was ready, or sell too early because I couldn’t stand waiting. The market has a way of punishing impatience.

One of my most important lessons came when I was watching Bitcoin approach a key level. I was tempted to buy early because I didn’t want to “miss out.” But this time, I forced myself to wait for confirmation. When the breakout actually came, I entered with confidence—and it worked out. That trade taught me the power of patience.
Now, I see patience as my edge. Good setups don’t appear every day, and that’s okay. Sometimes the best trade is no trade. Patience allows me to avoid unnecessary losses and enter only when the odds are in my favor.
Trading is less about speed and more about timing. And timing only comes if you’re willing to wait.
